With maritime inspired decor throughout, the modern Stars Bordeaux Gare is conveniently located right in front of Saint Jean station in Bordeaux's city centre. Wood panelling and blue soft furnishings with ship themed patterns give the air conditioned guestrooms a nautical feel. All have work desks, telephones and private shower rooms. Televisions show numerous satellite television channels.
Guests can tuck into buffet breakfasts each morning in the jolly, nautical themed dining room and those preferring to eat at the hotel at lunch and dinner can order a light meal tray. Drinks and coffees are available throughout the day at the bar and guests can browse the daily papers in the lobby lounge area. The hotel's city centre location means that many of the sights of the historic centre including the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle, the Grand Th��tre and the banks of the Garonne river are within one kilometre and an easy walk away. Visitors to the city will find some of the Bordeaux's famous vineyards within five kilometres of the city centre. Bordeaux M�rignac airport is about 20 kilometres and a 30 minute journey from the vicinity of the hotel.

Directions from Bordeaux M�rignac Airport: Take the La Rocade highway from the airport. Then take exit No. 21 to Bordeaux Centre followed by the 2nd exit for Gare Saint Jean (ignore 1st exit). The hotel is 100 metres from the station.
