Getting there. Taxis from the airport to Hamburg city centre cost approximately 20 EUR 25 EUR, and journey time is around 30 minutes. Yellow Airport Express buses run every 20 minutes from Terminals 1 and 4 to Hamburg's central station (Hauptbahnhof). Single tickets cost 5 EUR and the journey takes 30 minutes. The number 110 bus runs to Ohlsdorf station (for the U Bahn and S Bahn) every 10 minutes. Subway line U1 and rail lines S11 and S1 run from this station. Steinstrasse station on line U1 is 100 metres from the hotel. Private shuttle services travel to destinations across Hamburg. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Hamburg's public transport system (HVV) includes underground trains (U Bahn), rapid transit trains (S Bahn), harbour ferries, and buses. Daily tickets entitle the user to unlimited travel on all public transport, including the airport bus (number 110). The centre is easy to explore on foot.
