The Phoenician Hotel is located in the heart of Sapporo, near the city's business, shopping and financial centers. Built with beautiful white columns, high ceilings, and a tall atrium lobby, the hotel is tastefully decorated and furnished with marble fittings and many original antiques. There are a variety of attractions located within a kilometer of this hotel, and there is a subway station located within a five minute walk of the Phoenix Hotel.
The hotel has initiated a renovation of the accommodations, with all guest rooms completely refurbished in May, 2004. The guest rooms are 300 to 380 square feet in area, and furnished with a Queen or two twin beds. All rooms are equipped with a full range of amenities, though the rooms with Queen beds have a fax machine as a special amenity.
