The Scandic Asker is a modern red brick hotel situated in Asker town centre, 300 metres from the airport express line and 22 kilometres from Oslo. This four floor property features 125 Nordic design guestrooms decorated in contemporary style with modern furnishings and wooden floors all of which include satellite TV, radios, trouser presses and minibars. One floor of the hotel has eco friendly rooms where 97% of the materials used are recyclable.
Health conscious guests benefit from the use of the onsite gym and after a workout can unwind in the sauna; these facilities are complimentary and other services include a solarium (surcharge applies). During the summertime kids can use the playroom, where the hotel mascot Sigge the hedgehog has plenty of toys and games to keep children amused. All children receive a surprise gift from Sigge at check in. In the summer, guests can unwind with a drink on the rooftop restaurant balcony. Eight meeting rooms, and 13 group rooms, can accommodate from five to 200 people and all are fitted with audio visual equipment. Free wireless Internet access is available throughout the public areas of the hotel for those who want to plan sightseeing activities or keep in touch with friends and family. The hotel is located in the centre of town and close to shopping, beaches and other leisure activities. Oslo Airport is 50 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.

The Airport Express train runs straight to Asker, which is final stop on the line. The station is 300 metres from the railway station. There is also an airport bus which departs every 30 minutes to Asker. Asker is easily explored on foot and there are good transport links to Oslo. A car is recommended for trips further afield.
