The former 16th century monastery, Penha Longa Hotel & Golf Course, is set in unique gardens with statues dating back to the Renaissance. This magnificent hotel is located within the Sintra Mountains, 30 kilometres from Lisbon city centre. The 150 air conditioned guestrooms have light contemporary decor with oak wood furnishings and floral fabrics. Rooms open out on to balconies or terraces with garden views. The large bathrooms have separate bathtubs and showers, designer toiletries, makeup mirrors, bathroom scales, hair dryers and bathrobes. Driving Directions

A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs approximately 50 EUR.
Driving directions from Lisbon airport: Take the A5 highway in the direction of Cascais. Exit at Alcabideche/Sintra, and head towards Penha Longha. Take the second exit off the roundabout, and the hotel is 800 metres ahead.
