Location. Shula's Golf Club sits on a 500 acre campus in the planned community of Miami Lakes, Fla. Sharing the grounds with Shula's Hotel and Shula's Athletic Club, it sits amid an 18 hole championship golf course, par 3 executive course and driving range. The golf course has been awarded for its preservation of wildlife. Complimentary shuttle service is offered throughout the property.
Hotel Features. Commemorating the undefeated 1972 Miami Dolphins, the original Shula's Steak House prepares steaks and fresh Florida seafood, and overlooks the Senator Course. The Spa at Shula's, an Aveda Lifestyle spa, pampers guests with such treats as the Rosemary Mint Awakening Body Wrap and Aveda Fusion Stone Massages. The hotel boasts complimentary privileges at the athletic club, which features tennis and racquetball courts, a yoga studio, spa tubs, steam rooms and personal trainers. The resort's 6,900 square feet of function space includes a business center. A satellite cyber cafe provides high speed Internet access. Outside, the hotel offers 100 acres of wildlife sanctuary preserve.
Guestrooms. This resort features 84 guestrooms surrounding a courtyard pool. Rooms are appointed with wood grained furniture and balconies that overlook the resort grounds. Other amenities include minibars, refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers.
